Corten steel (rust)

Corten steel is a particularly robust structural steel. The word "Corten" is the brand name for a weather-resistant steel alloy. When exposed to the elements, this steel forms an outer protective layer that protects it from corrosion.

The main advantages are:

Very high resistance to corrosion and weathering, up to 8 times greater than that of conventional steel, which makes it particularly suitable for natural oxidation outdoors when in contact with air. It then forms a protective layer that prevents any further rust.

In addition, this patina gives it a beautiful warm, brown color, the shade of which can vary over the years and depending on the exterior environment.

CorTen is often considered a “living” material that protects itself. Indeed, if its surface patina is damaged or scratched, it will oxidize again to create a new protection. This regeneration phenomenon can be repeated several times, thus guaranteeing constant protection.

Corten steel is a bit like a good wine: it takes good raw material and the best conditions for it to reveal its full potential. The rusty patina you are looking for develops over time, when the panel is exposed to the elements like water and sun. Over time, the patina on your panel will continue to form until it creates a protective layer that will cover the steel underneath.

Our Corten steel is a unique material, known for its rusty patina surface. It is an extremely resistant material that protects itself against corrosion. Thanks to natural oxidation outdoors, it forms a protective layer that prevents rust from spreading. This patina gives the steel a beautiful warm, brown color, which evolves over the years and regenerates each time the surface is damaged or scratched. Corten steel is 100% recyclable and offers a living and incomparable material, which is constantly changing.

In addition to its "warm character", corten steel is 100% recyclable.

Powder coating

Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a dry, free-flowing powder. Unlike traditional liquid paint, which uses a solvent to set, powder coating is typically applied electrostatically and then cured with heat or ultraviolet light.

There are two main advantages:

First, powder coating creates a thick, dense surface on metal products, which can be more durable and resistant than traditional paints.

Second, it is a single-coat coating, which makes the process rather quick and easy.

Black:

Our black metal panels feature a fine, matte, textured finish. Their classic, timeless design makes them a great choice for both modern and traditional spaces. The black coating gives them a sleek, professional look.

Anthracite:

Our Anthracite is a semi-matte finish of a sophisticated dark grey. It is a perfect colour for modern and minimalist interiors, offering an elegant and timeless look. Anthracite is particularly suitable for outdoor use, as it is resistant to corrosion and weathering. It is an excellent choice for any project that is looking for a classic and professional style.

Stainless steel

Our stainless steel is a material known for its durability, longevity and hygienic properties. It is resistant to corrosion and impact, making it a very versatile material, used in many areas. Its shiny surface offers a timeless elegance that never goes out of style.

Brushed stainless steel is stainless steel with a unidirectional satin finish. It is made by polishing it with a fine brush on a belt or wheel that always moves in the same direction, then it is smoothed with a greaseless compound or a medium non-woven abrasive. This finish creates a visible grain, giving a matte appearance. It is often used in public places or outdoors for its resistance to corrosion. Unlike other steels, it does not rust and always keeps its beautiful silver shine.
